What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Dunes Village Resort?
What You Will Be Doing
As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel and waterparks. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and waterparks
Respond to guest requests and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, professional and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
Conduct inspections and perform tasks related to preventive maintenance needs
Record and report completed repairs and communicate in writing and/or verbally items that require further attention
Job Requirements
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills and 1 or more year(s) of general building maintenance and repair experience. Completion of high school diploma or related vocational training is preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying, lifting pushing and/or pulling items weighing up to 100-300 pounds; frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, and frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and crawling.
