We are seeking a dedicated and organized Switchboard Operator to join our team. Duties
- Operate and manage the switchboard phone systems to handle incoming calls efficiently.
- Greet callers warmly and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain updated records and logs.
- Assist with dispatching calls as needed, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Provide front desk support, including greeting visitors and managing appointments.
- Maintain professionalism in all communications, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth administrative operations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with clarity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating phone systems in a switchboard or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to type efficiently while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in dispatching or administrative roles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
