As a Park Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining park facilities, assisting guests, and facilitating events to create memorable experiences for everyone.
Duties
- Greet and assist park visitors with information about park amenities, activities, and events.
- Monitor park facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety for all guests.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately at various park locations.
- Manage conflicts or concerns from visitors with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist in organizing and executing special events within the park setting.
- Provide support during recreational activities, including lifeguarding when necessary.
- Conduct public speaking engagements to inform guests about park rules, safety protocols, and upcoming events.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively address visitor concerns.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Background in theater or events management is a plus.
- Familiarity with working with children in recreational settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to engage in public speaking comfortably and confidently.
- Lifeguard certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to creating enjoyable experiences for all park visitors.
