Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Duties
- Measure and mix ingredients to prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings
- Bake various types of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
- Decorate baked goods using icing, glazes, toppings, or other decorative elements
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust controls to ensure proper baking
- Develop new recipes and innovative baked goods to expand the menu
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a bakery or similar environment
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry-making
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
