Job Description
**Hours for this role are 3pm-10:30pm**
We are seeking a Night Shift Team Member / Store Closer to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. The ideal candidate will have customer service skills and knowledge of brewing equipment operation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store.
- Provide drink menus and answer questions regarding ingredients.
- Take orders while paying attention to details such as preferences for coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios.
- Prepare beverages according to recipes.
- Serve beverages and prepared food items like cookies, pastries, and muffins.
- Receive and process payments via cash or credit cards.
- Maintain a clean bar area.
- Ensure stock levels of clean mugs and plates.
- Verify that brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and suggest new menu items.
Requirements:
- Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma; relevant training is an asset.
