Position Information-Apartment Community-Non Medical Position
- Coordinator and community liaison for social and supportive services provided on properties.
- Schedule – Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM-Additional hours/days may be required based on property needs.
A Day in the Life
1. Plan, develop and implement inclusive programs and activities with residents and property staff that adhere to all fair housing standards.
2. Develop, implement and evaluate inclusive activities and action plans for resident services that adhere to all fair housing standards. These activities and action plans should be based on residents’ needs and preferences in congruence with the goals of the property.
3. Liaise with multiple community-based organizations to provide access to a continuum of services and to promote collaboration with community service providers.
4. Facilitate pro-active Resident Associations and Resident Councils at specific properties with Public Housing (PH) funding.
5. Collect program and services data and submit required reports and maintain files with necessary documentation.
6. Assist with fund raising and public relations for the property.
7. Other duties as required.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Keep and regularly update an online resident services calendar that details the organizations visited, events planned, and meetings held. The calendar should be maintained on the company network.
· Maintain a resident services phone contact log detailing organizations contacted and other pertinent details. The contact log should be maintained on the company network.
· Submit content for print media to the Marketing Coordinator for design. Assure review and approval of all print media content by supervisory team. The Resident Services Coordinator shall never set rental rates or fees.
· Create quantifiable goals for every event to measure their impact in the community. Evaluate the results to identify success as well as areas of improvement. Report these results to the supervisory team.
· Engage site personnel and residents in identifying needs and follow up on leads suggested.
· Collaborate with site personnel in preparing events pertinent to their community while maintaining organizational oversight of all events.
· Utilize appropriate time management and organizational methods to maintain control overactive work load and assigned duties. Utilize appropriate tools and methods to manage tasks independently.
· Follow-up with contact persons effectively and meet all deadlines. Utilize appropriate tools and methods to anticipate future needs and plan accordingly.
Priority Job Duties:
· Create content for monthly city calendars and provide the content to the Marketing Coordinator by the designed deadline. Once approved, the Marketing Coordinator will provide the finished calendars to the Resident Services Coordinator. The Resident Services Coordinator will distribute them to applicable sites on or before the first day of the month.
· Partner with community organizations, 501c3 non-profit organizations preferred, to provide onsite educational presentations that promote the well-being of the residents.
· Partner with community organizations to bring outreach services that support the well-being of the residents, such as mobile dentistry, WIC on Wheels, etc.
· Work with the Marketing Coordinator to identify and attend select fairs, events, and community outreach functions.
· Work with the District Manager and Marketing Coordinator to establish fresh leads and/or develop business relationships with organizations that meet the above criteria.
· Work with the Arizona Multi-housing Association (AMA) and sister properties to ensure the 5-STAR and Crime Free resident events and neighborhood association requirements are consistently upheld. Maintain a property spread sheet of these events and notify the supervisory team of non-compliance or other potential concerns.
