POSITION SUMMARY
Dunlop Sports & Srixon Cleveland Golf are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer who can help to support the rapid growth of our organization. This role will identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across both our golf club assembly and warehousing operations at our Huntington Beach headquarters. These initiatives will drive optimization of material flow, process improvements, including process automation, and potential floor layout/redesign as we continue to grow. The Industrial Engineer will report directly to the VP of Operations and will partner closely with several other functional leaders and teams. The purpose of this role will be to improve safety, quality, sustainability, and ultimately help to improve throughput and increase profitability. The Industrial Engineer will help us to expand our manufacturing capabilities in order to sustain and fuel our growth. We are looking for a Industrial Engineer with an understanding of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles, a passion for process improvement, and someone who embodies our Cleveland Srixon spirit.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
- Optimize material flow and operational efficiency while reducing lead-times and costs.
- Partner with Operations technicians to resolve operational challenges and translate technician needs into continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work extensively with the Operations, Safety, Quality, R&D, Customer Experience, and/or Sales teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement related to safety, sustainability, efficiency, and costs.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and make recommendations for its application within operations to improve safety, sustainability, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Identify opportunities for process automation.
- Identify opportunities for capital investments, creating the business justification (financial or otherwise) for such investments, including converting operational needs into specific project requirements, specifications, timelines, and costs.
- As appropriate, solicit proposals from vendors and contractors to fulfill those requirements as defined within the project.
- Ensure all capital projects are completed on schedule and on budget.
- Provide periodic CapEx & CI project review meetings to update cross-functional stakeholders on progress toward key project milestones
- Drive Root Cause Corrective Action to ensure that Operations identifies underlying root causes of performance variance and eliminates or mitigates against recurrence.
- Document all new process improvements/changes, including those associated with the implementation of new equipment/machinery.
- Help to develop Operation's KPIs, metrics, and associated reporting that allow for monitoring performance, identifying variance, and taking immediate course corrective action.

COMPUTER PROGRAMS
o Experience with 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks, NX, Fusion360, etc.)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
o Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering discipline
o 1 years of hands-on experience in plant or project engineering preferably in a high volume/high-mix, cellular manufacturing environment preferred.
o Golf manufacturing experience or related industry knowledge is a plus.
Industrial Engineer II Job Qualifications
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Use of Six Sigma to achieve demonstrated process improvements and cost savings.
- Green Belt preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving process improvements and/or production optimization through the use of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Power BI, Visio, & PowerPoint.
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP Systems (E1) preferred.
- Proven track record of data driven methodology to solve complex operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to succinctly present recommendations.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
