What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Dunn Building Company?
Summary Employee will assist the superintendent or project manager with the coordination and fulfillment of the project scope and completion of the job from the jobsite and/or an area office.

Subcontract documentation and tracking
Maintaining and monitoring project plans
Organizing, attending, and participating in meetings
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Learn and assist with scheduling daily work activities, develop critical path schedule modules, assist with the overall schedule development for projects and proposals
Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
Learn and assist with change order management
Learn and assist with submittal review, coordination, and implementation
Ensuring all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Providing administrative support as needed to include preparing daily reports, time and attendance records, safety meeting rosters, daily job photos, etc
Manage a wide range of communication and documents via several electronic systems
Undertaking project tasks as required
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Learn and assist with project surveying and layout techniques
Perform quantity surveys and estimates for materials and gain knowledge of all project building systems
Learn and assist with implementing our safety plans and safe work practices
Learn and assists with implementing our quality management system and punch list management
Learn and assist with coordination of materials deliveries, rigging techniques, and site storage
Learn and assist with subcontractor qualifications, subcontractor management, and owner/ client coordination
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s or associate degree, preferably in a construction related field such as engineering or building science
(2-3 years' experience)
Additional Requirement
Travel may be necessary in this position depending upon which project the employee is assigned to. Hotel and per diem will be provided.
