Position Title : CDL Class A Dump Truck Driver / OperatorPosition summary : Must have CDL Class A. Clean MVR.Drives / operates truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or asphalt. Ability to maneuver truck and properly back... Performs any and all other duties as necessary, but not otherwise specified.Tasks :
- Record operating data such as products and quantities, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers.
- Maintain proper maintenance of truck and distribute including tire pressure, fluid levels, etc.
- Communicate using 2-way radios and verbal communication
- Must be able to work nights, overtime, and weekends
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Other duties as assigned, not otherwise specified
- Skills :
- Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Must be able to read maps and navigate around central Alabama.
- Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
