Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our dentists in delivering top-notch dental care and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have x-ray license or will obtain within 3 months
- Dental Assistant certification (preferred) or relevant experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in dental software is a plus
