Rail Crew Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Member to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. As a Crew Member, you will work collaboratively with your team, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment to contribute to successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading railcars on each railyard.
• Unloading railcars with track hoe.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
• Utilize air brake systems effectively when operating vehicles or machinery.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in running a track hoe is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Commitment to safety practices and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
