Description
The MDES student worker will be responsible to the MDES faculty for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of all MDES lab and classroom spaces. Much of the work will be done in the Metrology Lab.
Primary Duties:
- Lab cleanliness to include sweeping, mopping and wiping down surfaces
- Work the MDES table at all open houses and other recruiting event support.
- Perform maintenance on equipment as directed by department faculty.
- Assist students and faculty running 3D printers and other metrology lab equipment.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in the Engineering Drafting MDES AAS Program
- Must be detail oriented, organized and focused.
- Candidates eligible for work-study dollars from financial aid are preferred.
- Must be flexible to schedule changes
- Should be energetic and self-starting.
