We are seeking an exceptional Industrial Design Engineer to join our team at Duo Form. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative product designs that meet customer needs and manufacturing goals.
About the Role:
As an Industrial Design Engineer at Duo Form, you will work closely with our Manufacturing and Marketing teams to ensure that our products are manufactured efficiently and effectively. You will develop product designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, using cutting-edge design software and prototyping equipment.
- Develop product designs that meet customer needs and manufacturing goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product development.
- Use point cloud data and reverse engineering techniques to create accurate 3D models.
- Translate product requirements into detailed drawings and specifications.
- Manage expectations across departments, ensuring designs meet goals and customer expectations.
- Operate 3D scanners, printers, and other prototyping equipment to bring designs to life.
- Meet project deadlines with minimal design direction, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or experience in engineering, product design, industrial design, or related field.
- Experience & Skills:
- Proficiency with design software (SOLIDWORKS and Visualize preferred).
- Familiarity with prototyping equipment (3D printers, 3D scanners, CNC machines).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation.
- Experience with tool design, thermoforming, and manufacturing assembly is a plus.
