About the Role: As an Industrial Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings. From concept to production, you'll design components that enhance our products functionality and aesthetic appeal, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts, assemblies, fittings, and fastener interactions.
- Use point cloud data and reverse engineering techniques to create accurate 3D models.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Marketing teams to innovate future designs.
- Translate concepts into detailed drawings and specifications.
- Manage expectations across departments, ensuring designs meet goals and customer expectations.
- Operate 3D scanners, printers, and other prototyping equipment to bring designs to life.
- Meet project deadlines with minimal design direction, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or experience in engineering, product design, industrial design, or related field.
- Experience & Skills:
- Proficiency with design software (SOLIDWORKS and Visualize preferred).
- Familiarity with prototyping equipment (3D printers, 3D scanners, CNC machines).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation.
- Experience with tool design, thermoforming, and manufacturing assembly is a plus.
