Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts, assemblies, fittings, and fastener interactions to create innovative products.
- Use point cloud data and reverse engineering techniques to create accurate 3D models of our products.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing team to innovate future designs and ensure cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
- Translate concepts into detailed drawings and specifications to communicate effectively with the team.
- Manage expectations across departments to ensure designs meet goals and customer expectations.
- Operate 3D scanners, printers, and other prototyping equipment to bring designs to life.
- Meet project deadlines with minimal design direction to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or experience in engineering, product design, industrial design, or related field.
- Proficiency with design software (SOLIDWORKS and Visualize preferred).
- Familiarity with prototyping equipment (3D printers, 3D scanners, CNC machines).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
