What are the responsibilities and job description for the Canvasser position at Dupage Adjusters?
This job listing is for DuPage Adjusters, which is a public adjusting firm that handles property insurance claims for exterior storm damage.
As a canvasser your duties are to drop off flyers at homes and use an app on your phone to mark down each home that you have dropped a flyer at.
No mandatory education level is required.
There will be a mandatory meeting at the office every Monday in Downers Grove at 10 am. This is when you will pick up flyers and paychecks.
You are required to have a reliable vehicle.
You should be prepared to travel up 45 minutes from your home to flyer locations (we will try to send you to areas close to home, but it does depend on storm locations).
The current pay is $0.50 per flyer: it roughly takes an hour to drop off 100.
At the moment the max pay is $700 per week (1400 flyers) but we may be raising the cap along with offering bonus pay if a certain number of flyers are hit or if we get business generated from your flyers.
As long as you’re dropping flyers between 8am-7pm you can make your own schedule. Weekends are NOT mandatory.
