The DuPage County Health Department is proud to announce an opening for an Outpatient Therapist, primarily providing outpatient care for the Adult population. Our Adult Outpatient program provides treatment to individuals with serious mental illness through individual & group counseling, community support, as well as psychiatric treatment. Our program is part of a larger behavioral health program that includes crisis services, adult intensive services/residential services, forensic behavioral health and substance use treatment.
Current availability exists for working out of our Southeast Public Health Department, located in Westmont Il. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, 4-days of the week, and 10:30 AM until 7:00 PM one day per week.

Completion of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field, and two years of behavioral health experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
LPC or LSW (Designated positions may require LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT licensure).

· Utilizes evidence based practices to provide outpatient psychotherapeutic and counseling to individuals, families, and groups
· Manages a client caseload and maintains regular contact with clients
-Provides diagnostic assessments, and develops treatment plans to determine the frequency, duration, and intensity of treatment· Provides referrals to community resources and monitors service delivery across providers in order to promote successful whole health treatment outcomes
· Maintains accurate and compliant documentation and clinical records
Salary : $51,075 - $69,940
