What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Services Technician - Overnight Crisis Residential position at DuPage County Health Department?
We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our team, within Crisis Services, as a Crisis Services Technician. Crisis services staff work as a team to deliver quality care, and a quick response to residents in need. This full-time 4 Day-work week is on our overnight shift, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30pm to 7:30am. The starting pay is $15.65 per hour, along with a $2.50 per hour shift differential. (Hourly rate may increase due to experience)

- Supports maintenance of a safe, therapeutic environment for clients seeking services through Crisis Residential and Crisis Recovery Center programs.
- Facilitates client safety and quality care in Crisis Residential and Crisis Recovery Center Programs, through completion of client rounding, and belongings checks
- Assists with client medication observation in Crisis programming.
- Performs tasks related to maintaining environmental standards in crisis programming.
- Completes grocery shopping and supply inventories
- May facilitate transportation of our clients in a county vehicle.
Must be 21 years of age.Experience preferred, but not required,
A qualified candidate must possess a valid State of Illinois Driver's license and have a good driving record. New employees are required to attend paid on-site, HR New Hire Orientation at our Central Public Health Center in Wheaton from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, for one week.
