Full Time - Flexed Schedule
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 2:30pm through 11:00pm
Saturday and Sunday 9:00am through 5:30pm
37.5 Hours Per Week
Preventative Maintenance:
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Equipment Maintenance and repairs:
- Maintaining and repairing equipment used for patient care, such as wheelchairs, exam tables, and sterilizers.
- Addressing and repairing building issues, such as leaks, electrical problems, and equipment malfunctions.
Safety:
- Ensuring the safety of the facility and its occupants by maintaining fire alarm systems, emergency power generators, and other safety equipment.
Communication and coordination:
- Communicating with staff and management regarding maintenance needs and issues.
- Coordinating with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
General Maintenance and other duties:
- Performing general maintenance tasks, such as painting, cleaning, and carpentry work.
- Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as moving equipment or furniture, or helping with special projects.
Specific Skills and Knowledge:
- Technical Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot building issues.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and climbing.
- Familiarity with medical equipment and its maintenance needs.
- Ability to use computer maintenance management programs (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance activities.
Three years of experience in maintenance and repair work, including one year of experience in at least one of the building trades; including, but not limited to, HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, or plumbing; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a valid Illinois driver's license. Attendance at paid HR new hire orientation is required.
Salary : $39,675 - $66,125
