JOB GOAL :
To lead students towards the fulfillment of their potential by translating the district curriculum goals and objective into learning experiences that will contribute to the development of skills necessary for becoming a mature and responsible individual.

Planning & Preparation
- Demonstrates content knowledge and makes connections between the content and all relevant disciplines.
- Understands child and adolescent development and displays an understanding of how students learn.
- Establishes and clearly articulates instructional outcomes based upon district curriculum guidelines, state standards, and / or content standards.
- Utilizes personnel resources as appropriate to enhance content and pedagogical knowledge.
- Provides relevant instructional goals that represent significant cognitive challenges with differentiation and meaningful learning.
- Uses assessment results to plan and modify instruction.

Possess a Bachelor's Degree (Education) or related field.Current Illinois Professional Educator License with Family and Consumer Science endorsement(s) appropriate for the position.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :

Performance evaluation will occur in accordance with District 44 evaluation process and procedures. By the first day of school, all LPEs shall receive the Notification of Evaluation.
