Exemption Status Non-Exempt - 30 hours per week (M-F)

Position Summary

Perform duties to provide general assistance to the HR Dept.

Essential Duties

Background Checks and Filing - 50%

• Complete background checks using the LiveScan fingerprint machine.
• Decrypt and save returned background checks.
• Take employee ID pictures.
• Prepare new hire orientation meeting packets.
• Support HR staff in processing new hire employee forms, including updating files with missing documents.
• Maintain the personnel file room and electronic files, paying special attention to bulk filing received within the department.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :

12 months; Non-Union position.

Position is eligible for Benefits and IMRF participation.

Starting Hourly Rate : $18.00
