*Responsibilities*
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records and care plans.
- Handle insurance verification for Medicare and other insurance providers.
- Utilize Meditech software for scheduling appointments, updating patient information, and managing files.
- Assist with administrative tasks including answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
- Support medical staff by preparing necessary documentation for patient visits.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
*Experience*
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with documentation review, coding practices, and care plan management is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using medical software systems such as AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing files and records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
