OverviewQuincy Medical Group (QMG) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Internal Medicine team. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Internal Medicine, you will provide exceptional care to a diverse adult patient population, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services.ResponsibilitiesAs an integral member of the Internal Medicine team, you will conduct patient assessments, perform physical exams, and develop treatment plans. You will diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results. Your role will also involve providing education and counseling to patients and families on health management and preventive care. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be a compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional with a commitment to patient-centered care. A Master's degree in Nursing (for NPs) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program is required, along with current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Illinois. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA) is required, as is Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. While previous experience in Internal Medicine or primary care is preferred, it is not required.The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000, depending upon the applicant's qualifications and experience.
