About Dupli

Dupli is a private, family-owned company that began as an envelope printing company focused on servicing major Colleges / Universities, Banks, Credit Unions and Insurance companies in upstate NY. Over the years we have diversified our products to include Stationery, Marketing Collateral, Direct Mail and Repositionable Adhesive products (sticky note pads, wall / floor safe signage). We have also diversified our geography to include plants in Newington, CT and Malvern, PA. One of our key differentiators is our ability to ship lots of small orders. Our technology and online ordering system (DupliOnline) have enabled us to cost efficiently ship over 1200 orders daily. Nearly 90% of our orders come from 250 online platforms that are set up for our customers to order quickly and easily.

Job Overview

Dupli Envelope and Graphics is a leading manufacturing company in the paper printing industry headquartered in Central New York. We are looking for a mechanically inclined self-starter who can lead a team on the envelope converting machine.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain envelope converting machines.

Tends machine that forms plain and window envelopes from precut blanks : Load stacks of blanks into the rack of the feed mechanism.

Starts machine and observes progress of blanks through cutting, gluing, folding, and drying units.

Fans handful of envelopes to inspect them for quality of folding, sealing, and glue application, and packs them in boxes.

Pours glue into machine container to replenish supply.

Wipes or washes glue from the machine at the end of the shift.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Perform basic mathematical calculations.

Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, Job Tickets, press imposition and,rule-up sheets.

Must be mechanically inclined.

Must have basic electronic and computer keyboard knowledge.

Stand and walk 95% of the time.

Extensive lifting and bending actions.

Physically capable of lifting to 75lbs.

Manufacturing environment with noise exposure to varying levels. (Hearing protection provided.)

Hourly Rate : Pay is based on experience, with an hourly rate starting at $17.00 per hour and up to $22.00 per hour.
