Job Description
The Duplin County School District seeks a highly qualified Digital Learning and Media Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital learning and media program.
About the Role
This is a critical leadership position that will provide vision, direction, and support for the school library media program, technology infrastructure, services, and resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, promoting, and sustaining the program, as well as fostering a love for reading and providing coaching and support to staff and administrators on effective blended learning strategies.
- Leadership: Provide leadership in collaboratively planning, promoting, and sustaining the school library media program, technology infrastructure, services, and resources.
- Program Administration: Establish the library media center as both a physical and virtual shared space, open, equitable, and accessible for active learning, participation, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Master Teaching: Use technology, research-based, innovative instructional strategies to deliver instruction, engage students, and cultivate and support students' reading interests and learning styles.
