Founded in 1996, Duplitech is one of L.A.'s most respected independent media service labs. We provide a full range of content delivery solutions : On Disc, On Demand and On DCP. Our in-house services include : 4K film scanning & digital restoration, Blu-ray / DVD authoring, mezzanine package creation & QC for digital release, technical editing and asset conform, standards conversion, subtitling, and audio restoration / up mix.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in digital media operations or post production environment.
- Experience with Quality control preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on detail-oriented work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of Video compression and familiar with standard frame rates, aspect ratios, and codecs
- Able to identify interlaced vs progressive footage
- Knowledge of streaming video content and familiar with various platform specs (Samsung, Netflix, iTunes, Amazon, Etc)
- Experience with metadata schema and databases, and familiarity with XML or JSON formats is a plus.
