The DuPont site in Louisville, KY is hiring for a General Operator .
As a General Operator you will be responsible for safe and efficient 24-hour operation of a chemical manufacturing process unit, monitoring and maintaining equipment, problem solving and troubleshooting related problems.

Key responsibilities will include :
Conform with Area and Plant safety rules, health and housekeeping requirements.
Make safety, health, quality and housekeeping audits and initiate or take corrective actions.
Observe all Area and Plant security regulations, procedures and practices for the safeguarding of Dupont Company information.
Perform routine operation functions such as loading / unloading tank cars and trailers. Handling raw materials that are essential to the operation of the plant.
Operate a Distribution Control System to make equipment or process adjustments to ensure plant operates within standard operation conditions.
Assist Technicians from other job classification and / or perform tasks associated with their function.
Recognize when conditions require notification of other personnel and make the contact.
Participate in activities that increase one’s skills.
Prepare records and reports that communicate required information.
Monitor and troubleshoot operating control systems and related auxiliaries
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Be able to work multiple work schedules i.e. 12-rotating shift or 12-hour straight day or night shift and 8-hour shifts
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Chemical Industrial Technology
