Job Summary
As the Site IT Cluster Leader for Americas, you will be responsible for ensuring business continuity and overseeing the delivery of IT services to Manufacturing, R&D, Commercial and Functional end users in 20 Americas sites, with a focus on providing exceptional end user support, elevating end user experience and ensuring disciplined value-based cost management. You will partner with business stakeholders, global/local IT teams, and external vendors to understand users’ needs and requirements, and collaborate across IT teams to deliver integrated services / solutions that meet those needs. You will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of ~10 IT professionals located in Americas sites, ensuring they have the resources, support, and guidance needed to deliver exceptional IT services and solutions.
Please note this role requires you to be onsite 3 days each week with 2 days of remote work.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement the IT service strategy for Americas sites, ensuring alignment with the business strategy and overarching IT strategy as well as global/local standards and best practices. The strategy should be customer-centric, focusing on understanding business priorities and delivering IT services that provide an exceptional user experience.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand the strategy, user needs and requirements and collaborate across IT teams to deliver integrated services / solutions that meet those needs.
Ensure IT operational continuity. Partner with internal and external teams to immediately triage and resolve operational issues and determine the root cause.
Partner with global/local IT teams to identify opportunities for improving the end user experience across sites / business units / functions and ensure that local requirements are considered in the development of global solutions in partnership with our enterprise technology and architecture teams. Leverage best practices, identify cost efficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
Manage and develop the site IT team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities. Foster a culture of customer focus, partnership and collaboration.
Ensure that end user experience processes are documented, communicated, and adhered to by the Americas site IT team.
Monitor and manage end user experience performance, including user satisfaction, usability, reliability and accessibility.
Ensure that end user experience complies with regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security regulations. Collaborate with Information Security and Compliance Team to make sure regulatory requirements are met consistently across the organization.
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
10 years of experience in IT service delivery, with a strong understanding of IT industry, esp. on how to elevate IT end user experience.
Experience managing teams in a matrixed environment.
Experience working with global/local IT teams and external vendors.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex situations and data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
