Position Overview:
The Inventory Assistant will receive thorough training to manage and maintain our inventory system, with the goal of becoming independently responsible for this area. Responsibilities include counting and checking in orders, organizing and putting away supplies, processing orders, cleaning and dusting product shelves, and occasionally meeting with our representatives. The role involves physical lifting and requires you to be on your feet for extended periods. Flexibility is important, as some on-call days will be required for large shipments.
Responsibilities
- Count inventory and update records.
- Check in and verify orders upon arrival.
- Organize and put away inventory in a timely manner.
- Process new orders accurately.
- Meet with supplier representatives as needed to maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Physically lift and organize inventory items.
- Be available for occasional on-call days to manage large shipments.
- Cleaning & Dusting shelves and organizing inventory displays.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and physically capable of handling inventory lifting.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory tracking.
