We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to lead our team and ensure seamless daily operations at our Courtyard by Marriott hotel located in Concord, NH.
Position Overview :
As the Assistant General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service while maintaining operational efficiency. You will work closely with department heads to implement policies, drive profitability, and enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
- Achieve budget revenues and expenses and maximizes profitability related to rooms department
- Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments
- Implement and maintain local and national sales / marketing programs
- Assist in the development of new programs to increase guest satisfaction and operational excellence
- Participate and be involved in local community-related events
- Participate in providing accurate forecast
- Monitor and process the aging of invoices through tracking of AP / AR
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new associates
- Cultivate a safe and positive work culture. Encourage associate morale and engagement
- Schedule staff according to labor standards, budget and forecasted occupancy
- Optimize guest satisfaction through associate development, job engineering and quality image
- Manage staff ensuring labor laws, company policies and procedures are in compliance
- Maintain knowledge of government regulations
- Work well with all staff to ensure a positive work environment
- Work closely with the General Manager to ensure the seamless operation of the property
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
Qualifications :
Duprey Hospitality, a Concord, New Hampshire-owned and operated, full-service hotel management company with management contracts including Marriott, Choice Hotels and Hilton brands. Duprey Hospitality currently manages 6 hotel properties as well as an independent, 16,000 sf conference & events center.
