POSITIONSUMMARY :
This is moderate tocomplex office work in the Office of Residence Life requiring considerableindependent judgment, the ability to be highly organized and excellent interpersonalskills.
- The schedule for this positionwill be five days per week. Applicantsmust be willing to work weekends and holidays.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensures the safety of all residents
Monitors the identification of allresidents and guests entering the building
Facilitates the guest sign-in policy
Enforces visitation and alcoholpolicies
Receives, screens and refers telephonecalls and visitors
Serves as the main point of contactfor the Residence Life Duty Desk
Refers duty calls to Resident Directoron Call as necessary
Liaison with Facilities Management onafter-hour maintenance request and follow-up
Alerts Residence Life staff of anyunusual circumstances
Answers inquiries from the campus andgeneral community
Completesother duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum qualifications :
High school diploma
Preferred qualifications :
Associate's degree from an accredited institution
Previous work-related experience
