Hours : Evenings (3pm or after ) and some weekends

POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible position within Parking Services.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides directions andassistance for students, parents, faculty, and staff, as well as visitors tothe campus.
Helps locate buildings andoffices; serves as initial contact person with the general public.
May serve in variety offunctions from valet parking to directing traffic flow for special events.
Provides assistance to thecampus police officers, and while not directly related in the chain of command,will take orders from the campus police in emergency situations or whenassigned by the Associate Director of Parking & DU Card Services.
Completes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum qualifications :
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Pennsylvania Driver'slicense in good standing
Ability to operate bothautomatic and standard transmission vehicles
Minimum of one year ofexperience
Preferred qualifications :
Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination ofexperience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is notlimited to, the following :
Excellent interpersonalcommunication skills
Neat and presentableappearance
Ability to interact with thegeneral public in a firm but courteous manner at all times, while maintainingthe integrity of the parking plan established by the University.
