Dura-Lift is a part of American Elevator Group (AEG), the largest independent elevator service company in North America, consisting of a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating across the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. We are looking for a Project Manager to support our construction and modernization lines of business.
Reporting to the Manager, Modernization & Construction, the Project Manager will be responsible for various project management related activities within the Modernization/ Construction Department, including but not limited to process design and implementation, reporting, estimating support, contract management support, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Completes assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
- Conducts risk assessments: reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Communicates and collaborates with sales team to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices. Performs other duties as assigned
Special Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up-to fifteen pounds at times.
Work Environment & Hazards:
Much of this job will be in a general office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.Work Contact Group:
- Significant contact with customers and field employees.
- Significant contact with internal customer service representatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 5 years of direct experience required.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Must have exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to establish strong relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
