About Us:
Dura-Line, an Orbia Business & a global leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic Senior Production Supervisor for our Gainesville, Texas site.
This AMAZING position, you will lead and support a culture of safety, standardize operations on all shifts, changeover standardization/urgency, focus on scrap management, drive an operator based 5s culture, improve accountability, improve individualized coaching, develop succession plan within the shifts, foster quality, lean, and safety culture.
Responsibilities:

- Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence
- Lead by example to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety, quality, service, cost, and production. When goals are missed, understand why and have suggestions for improvement
- Hold team accountable to following established procedures and conforming to conduct standards
- Be an enabler for team to drive process improvements. Ensure effective employee relations
- Mentor Lead Operators and production team
- Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity and cost to achieve positive results in all areas
- Responsible for the effective training, qualification, proficiency and overall performance management of employees
- Build a team that is dedicated and committed to excellence, with open communication, where all team members have a voice
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of supervisory experience in a lean manufacturing/production environment
- At least an Associates degree is required
- Experience overseeing the daily operations of your team, including staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence
- Ability to meet KPIs: scrap reduction, improve safety behaviors, increase labor retention, labor utilization, improve product quality, reduce downtime, TRIR, OSHA recordables, etc.
- Proven track record of leading, training, and coaching direct reports
- Technical and mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
- Excellent multitasking abilities with a focus on prioritization
- Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP experience, SAP is a plus
What is in it for you?
The compensation for this position will typically range from $74,000-120,000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
