JOB TITLE: Engineering Intern
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Interns to join our team and assist our Quality department in various tasks related to documentation and process improvement. This 3-month internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, quality control, and risk management.
As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to support the documentation of essential process and quality assurance tools, as well as assist in audits and corrective action efforts. You will gain exposure to industry-standard practices in risk management, control planning, and continuous improvement. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY/ SCOPE:
* Assist Quality Engineers in documenting Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and Risk Management assessments.
* Help create and maintain Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Check Sheets for manufacturing processes.
* Support the team in conducting audits to assess process adherence and identify areas for improvement.
* Prepare and organize audit reports, summarizing findings and suggestions.
* Collaborate in the development and tracking of Corrective Actions based on audit results and process reviews.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions related to quality control and process optimization.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills such as pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis are a plus).
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering).
* Minimum classification of Sophomore (must be currently enrolled in an engineering program).
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
