Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Financial Operations: Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Cost Accounting: Lead cost accounting activities such as analyzing production costs, standard cost variances, and inventory valuation to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Internal Controls: Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in line with GAAP, delivering insights to senior management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership to create budgets, forecasts, and financial models that align with business goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, financial management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
