Kitting Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Kitting Coordinator to join our fast-paced production team. This role is essential in ensuring that customized kitting projects are accurately assembled and delivered on time. If you're highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic environment, please apply.

We are looking for a full-time candidate to work Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. We are looking for someone who would like to work overtime when it's available due to workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming kitting projects from the Kitting Line List in coordination with the Kitting Lead and Customer Service.
• Thoroughly read and follow job tickets, checking all notes for special instructions.
• Communicate with Customer Service, Purchasing, and the Kitting Lead regarding materials, raw goods, and estimated delivery times.
• Help monitor inventory levels of kitting materials (bags, boxes, etc) and communicate shortages or restock needs to Kitting Lead and/or Purchasing
• Proactively identify and report any production challenges or discrepancies in specifications.
• Update job tickets through Customer Service for any changes to the production plan.
• Prepare sample kits to verify accuracy and completeness before final production.
• Ensure all quality standards and metrics are met to maintain our commitment to excellence.
• Perform a final inspection of completed kits to ensure all components are included, correctly labeled, and properly packaged.
• Work closely with the Kitting Lead and Scheduler/Expediter to understand and meet daily priorities.
• Support other departments (Finishing, Quality Control, Shipping/Receiving) as needed.
• Assist in training backup team members or new hires on kitting procedures to ensure coverage during absences or demand surges.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
