What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative -Home Medical Equipment position at DuraMed?
DME Customer Service position will be responsible for verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations and data entry as well as communicating with physician offices, patients and hospitals regarding documentation required for Home Medical Equipment.
Excellent Data Entry skills required to enter patient demographics. Excellent communication skills needed for communication with physician offices, insurance companies and hospitals. Position will also be responsible for dispatching orders and answering calls from customers regarding all types of home medical equipment.
We are looking for a reliable/dependable DME Customer Service Representative with excellent computer skills, communication skills and the ability to multi task. Individual will be expected to learn Medicare Guidelines for home medical equipment.
Physician Office Experience is helpful.
Knowledge of Home Medical Equipment, Supplies and HCPC and/or ICD 10 Knowledge is helpful.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
