Essential Functions:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, switches, sensors, motors, etc.
- Maintain electrical equipment to meet NEC and local codes.
- Design, program, analyze, and repair electrical drives and control units, including configuring PLC motor controls and electrical protection.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and operations.
- Assist customers in identifying and resolving problems.
- Demonstrate safe and proficient use of shop tools, hand and power tools, including a welder.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, analog and digital industrial sensors.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking, and lifting, as well as working from ladders.
- Work in various environments, including company offices, warehouses, and customer sites, both indoors and outdoors in wet, dry, dusty, hot, and cold conditions.
- Proficiently test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Perform duties in a work environment that may be hot, cold, dirty, or fast-paced.
- Provide onsite and remote support.
- Work independently, managing and recording time and expenses, while also collaborating with other trades.
- Organize and maintain project documentation and drawing modifications.
- Travel as required.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Four years of journey-level electrical experience or completion of an approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance, plus two years of electrical experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Thorough knowledge of 3-phase and low voltage circuits and controls.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and work screen.
- Availability to work 8-hour days, weekends, callouts, and overtime.
- Ability to travel domestically and possibly internationally.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
