Paraprofessional: Part-time, part-year position, 16 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday four hours per day, from September to May.
Position Purpose: The Paraprofessional duties are supervising, supporting, and monitoring student behavior during daily activities, especially transitions (meals, playground, hallways and walks, and nap time). The position fluctuates between direct, one-on-one assistance and background support.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a classroom setting and be open and willing to accommodate unique needs in an inclusive environment.
Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $16.55 - $18.09 depending on education and experience.
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Prior experience with children required, 6 months paraprofessional experience preferred.
- Criminal Background Check required for hire.
