About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Durango Outpatient Surgery Center (10101). As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, including pain orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, and operating room radiology. Your expertise will also extend to filing and logging x-rays, maintaining accurate records, and reporting findings to physicians.
Responsibilities
- Pain orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, and operating room radiology
- Filing and logging x-rays
- Maintaining accurate records
- Reporting findings to physicians
- Utilizing downtime to perform other assigned tasks, including room turnovers, restocking warmer, specialty carts, etc.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
- 1-2 years' experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in an operating room setting
- Pain experience preferred
- ARRT Registered, State of Nevada MRT, and CPR Current
- Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations
- Independent decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
