We are adding an Electro-Mechanical Technician to our Maintenance team!
The Electro-mechanical Technician performs light duty construction of various automation, vision and small electronic controller units (Arduino, PLC, etc.). Works with development team and gives design input for improving existing, and building new equipment. Works directly with production team members to demonstrate, diagnose and implement new and existing automation equipment. Provides service to end-users (in-person, over-the-phone, and via written communication) of automation equipment, applications and platforms. Participates in planning and needs analysis.
Responsibilities
- Implements various construction techniques to design, build and maintain various manufacturing automation equipment.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves operational and usability issues.
- Participates in planning/needs analysis for hardware and software/firmware.
- Maintains documentation, including inventory records/bill of materials in the construction of automation equipment and software/firmware.
- Coordinates and implements projects as assigned by department team leader.
- Performs routine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of a variety of hardware devices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Electro-mechanical, robotics, pneumatic and motion control systems or related field preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience conducting hardware construction and troubleshooting required.
- Experience with PLC ladder and Arduino programming preferred.
- Working knowledge of low voltage electronics including construction, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
