We are looking for talented, forward-thinking team members to add to our Printed Electronics team!
Our Printed Electronics team technicians are directly involved in all aspects of membrane switch assembly and test production. This may include programming and running automated production equipment as needed.
- Sets-up and operates Flex Laminator
- Applies encapsulant over SMD components
- Hand applies individual switch layers, insulating tape, overlays to circuit pack layer and membrane switch to subpanel when required
- Crimps and applies housings of terminal pins using Manual, Auto or Berg Crimper when needed
- Tests circuit electrical function using a Mistral Keypad Tester
- Packages finished product in a manner to prevent damage in shipping
- Verifies product conformance to customer specification
- Program, operates and trouble shoots all department automated equipment such the pick and place, flex laser, or Thompson Die Press
Ideal candidates will bring:
- High school degree or equivalent required.
Skills and abilities crucial to success in this role:
- Ability to demonstrate fine motor skills necessary for small electrical component placement and assembly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, switch maps, diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently without continued support from others.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Pay: $17.50 - $21.50 per hour
