This Role:
Our collaborative Design Services Sales Enablement team is currently seeking a Designer based out of our Innovation Center in Grand Rapids, MI. This will be a full time, primarily work from home role with occasional in-office days as required by the team manager/business.
What You Will Do:
The Designer helps ensure a smooth and effective quoting process for the sales and customer service teams by providing accurate and timely 2D/3D models for customer requests.
How You Will Do It:
Communicate with members of the customer service and sales teams (and occasionally customers directly) regarding technical specifications of products
Generate 2D/3D models using computer aided design/CAD software for new and revised products/product components
Support Duravent manufacturing sites prepare for production of the product by creating/editing bills of materials and routing processes
Analyze customer/product issues and recommend changes as appropriate
Additional responsibilities/projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications
Current U.S. work authorization without requiring visa sponsorship required
Previous experience with CAD software required, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s level education in related field preferred
Previous work experience in design role strongly preferred
