This Role:

Our team is currently seeking an Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician based in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a 2nd Shift position. Our 2nd shift hours are typically 3:30PM – 12:00AM Monday through Friday with Saturday overtime scheduled as needed.

What You Will Do:

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will:

Repair and maintain facility equipment, electrically-controlled power systems, vehicles and buildings as necessary to keep them in an efficient and safe operating condition. Repair and maintain fork trucks.

How You Will Do It:

· Diagnose cause of common equipment failure and repair the following types of equipment: mechanical and CNC equipment, material handling equipment, HVAC systems, welding systems including robotics and hydraulic and pneumatic systems, utilities such as air, water and steam to machines and equipment, high and low pressure piping and building structures and grounds.

· Mig and arc welding as necessary.

· Relocate and install office, production and facility equipment to include alignment and securement if required. May perform carpentry work and work on structural steel, cranes and hoists.

· Work will include electrical work such as replacing fuses, repairing an exposed wire, replacing components, pulling wire in conduit, any another electrical repairs 120, 220, 440 volt.

· Perform preventative maintenance functions in order to maintain equipment.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical training in mechanical/electrical repair field or related experience.

Pay: $24.64 - $28.11 per hour

Shift Premium for 2nd Shift:  $1.25 per hour
