TPM Coordinator
Duravent / Hart & Cooley, LLC. is a leading manufacturer of chimney, venting and air distribution products for the commercial and residential HVAC and hearth industries. We are searching for a TPM Coordinator to be a critical role as we level up our plantwide Maintenance performance. This will be a very visible role with the opportunity to make major impacts in all Production areas as we seek to implement all aspects of TPM using lean manufacturing principles as our foundation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define preventive procedures and schedules for all plant equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to participate in events pertaining to planned and unplanned repairs.
- Manage critical spare parts storage to minimize downtime.
- Develop policy to provide and track necessary equipment and MRO supplies to maintenance department.
- Obtain quotes and issue PO for consumable supplies, critical spares replenishment, and other maintenance expense needs.
- Coordinate with Production and Management to ensure appropriate TPM tasks are defined and provide support for long term improvement initiatives.
- Participate with HSE to support safety policies and maintain compliance to all OSHA policies.
- Coordinate outside service PMs. Obtain quotes and issue POs.
- Follow up on maintenance breakdowns. Create preventive and spare part policy to eliminate down time or lessen impact to business. Take us from “reactive” to “preventive”!
- Meet with Maintenance Supervisor daily and stay informed of root cause corrective actions to address issues identified daily.
- Key User for the Maintenance Management System (EPAC/Maintain-X), train maintenance and production personnel on proper work order procedures.
- Generate charts from EPAC/Maintain-X to track MTBF, MTTR, Machine Uptime.
- Daily update of Plant Downtime, PM’s due and PM’s past due.
- Confirm PM assignment and execution of all PM and repair requests
- Update ME manager frequently on PM program status, maintenance KPI’s, and improvement projects.
- Monitor breakdown classification and downtime reported in EPAC/Maintain-X.
- Manage and present Maintenance metrics & KPI’s in plant CMMS:
- Maintenance performance: MTBF, MTTR, PM’s, total downtime
- Critical Spare Parts inventory
- Asset lists with linked PM’s and PM instructions at correct frequencies
- Work Order backlog
- Other continuous improvement metrics
To Succeed In This Position, You Will Ideally Have
- 3 years of operating, developing, and implementing CMMS, preferably EPAC and Maintain-X
- Experience in Oracle preferred
- 3 years of experience developing PM plans and instructions
- Communication skills to present in meetings and audits.
- Ability to use reasoning and experience to improve reliability plans for machines
- MRO storeroom experience.
- 3 years of TPM life cycle experience
- Experience implementing reliability-centered predictive maintenance preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, technical background highly preferred
- Proficient level of English
