What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Diversity, Equity and Engagement position at Durham Academy?
Reporting directly to the Head of School, the Director of Diversity, Equity and Engagement (DEE) leads Durham Academy’s efforts (as set forth by the Board of Trustees in our DEE Mission Statement) to help “all members of our community feel welcomed, empowered, responsible and safe.” The Director of DEE acts as a resource, catalyst, guide, and strategic planner - engaging individually and collectively with students, faculty, staff, families, alumni, the Board of Trustees, and the greater external community. The new Director will begin July 1, 2025.
