Job Description:
The Durham Intermediate School Principal/Curriculum & Instruction Facilitator will be responsible for leading and improving student performance, program effectiveness, and sustained school-wide continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and analyze to improve student performance
- Implement and evaluate district-approved curricular programs
- Supervise and evaluate personnel, providing regular feedback and recognizing exceptional performance
- Develop professional development opportunities for staff
- Master schedule of courses and assign personnel and students
- Analyze student performance data and support staff collaboration
- Attend and participate in site IEPs and demonstrate special education competency
- Sustain differentiated instructional strategies in all classrooms
- Develop the Single Plan for Student Achievement
- Support a safe and orderly school campus
- Select new personnel
- Manage resources, including budget preparation and grant funding
- Delegate leadership opportunities and develop effective teams
- Provide leadership to parents and community through School Site Council and Parent Teacher Club
Requirements:
- CA Administrative Credential
- Transcripts
- DOJ and TB certificate upon hire
- Three letters of current recommendation within the last two years
