A leading global trading firm that specializes in market making and execution services is looking for talented Quantitative Strategists to join their interdisciplinary teams. With a strong presence across multiple international markets, this firm leverages advanced technology and quantitative research to enhance liquidity and trading efficiency.
Compensation: Up to $200k base disc. bonus (≈$300k - 400k package)
The Role:
As a Quantitative Strategist, you will work alongside traders, quants, and software engineers in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. Your contributions will directly impact trading strategies and risk models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement predictive models using modern statistical methods
- Research and optimize trading strategies
- Analyze existing strategies to identify areas for improvement
- Design risk models to manage portfolio exposure
- Build automation tools for research and visualization of complex data
The Ideal Candidate:
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in a quantitative field such as Math, Science, or Engineering
- Strong academic track record with challenging coursework and a high GPA
- Exceptional quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Python & C
- Ability to express ideas mathematically & algorithmically
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
