Hostess/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hostess/Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Hostess/Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving.
• Assist bartenders by communicating with the kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Uphold restaurant standards for food presentation and quality.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Familiarity with ARRyved POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette when interacting with guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player mentality with a willingness to help others as needed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
